My name is Anna Chmiel, and I’m a passionate language guide and mentor, helping adults and young learners break through language barriers in English and French for over 15 years.

????‍???? I hold a degree in Pedagogy and Philology (University of Warsaw), where I specialized in teaching both English and French, completing teaching practice at every level of education. I am also certified with CELTA and DELTA, corresponding to Cambridge University diplomas in English language teaching. My background in applied linguistics also fuels my work in translation and intercultural communication.

????‍???? Over the years, I have taught in language schools, working with small groups and individual learners of all ages and levels — from preschoolers to business professionals. My teaching style combines traditional lessons with interactive outings, language challenges, and movement-based methods, always highlighting the power of non-verbal communication.

???????? Living near the bilingual city of Biel/Bienne, I use French and English daily, constantly refining my skills in real-life contexts.

I see language learning as a shared adventure: discovering the world together, exchanging ideas, exploring passions, and daring to challenge each other. That’s the key to breaking language barriers, building confidence, and staying motivated — for both learner and teacher.

???? Outside of work, I’m a happy mom to a vibrant 7-year-old ????‍♀️, cat lover ???????? (my furry assistants often join lessons!), dancer ????, music enthusiast ????, board game player ????, foodie ????????????, and fan of everything that brings the wind to my hair ⛵️????.
